A.J. Brown Draws Gronk Praise from Patriots

New England Patriots' newest wide receiver A.J. Brown received high praise from coach Mike Vrabel and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who compared him to Rob Gronkowski.

After his first practice with the team, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels drew parallels between Brown and former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, calling him "the closest thing I've seen is Gronk." Head coach Mike Vrabel, who previously coached Brown with the Titans, praised the receiver's physical skill set, body control, and ability to overpower defenders.

Brown, who has recorded six 1,000-yard seasons in his first seven years, is expected to bring a similar red zone presence to New England as Gronkowski did during his nine seasons with the Patriots. Vrabel believes Brown's physical playing style and football love will elevate the team's offense as they prepare for another Super Bowl run. chickenroad.qpon
